This site collects as little as a site can.
The contact form
What you write, with your name and email address, is sent to me by email through Cloudflare, which hosts this site; it is not stored on the site. It stays in my inbox until I delete it, and I use it only to reply to you. To keep robots out, the form checks how long it was open and that someone typed in it, and limits how many notes can come from one internet address in a minute; none of this is kept.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. Your choices of language and print size are kept in your own browser, and so, for the length of a visit, are a few small things such as your place on a page; none of it is ever sent anywhere. Cloudflare counts page views for me without cookies and without identifying you. If Cloudflare ever has to check that a visitor is not a robot, it may set a short-lived security cookie of its own.
Fonts and the globe
The typefaces, Latin and Chinese, are served from this site. The globe on the Performances page is drawn with files from this site too, fetched only when you open it. Apart from Cloudflare’s small page-view counter, no script from another company runs here.
Hosting
Cloudflare, in the United States, serves this site from its data centers around the world and keeps ordinary server logs. Its privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
